Host a book drive with your class or school, club, neighborhood, office or workplace to collect gently used books. Get the word out with posters, with email or online, and know you’re serving children with limited access to books. We accept all gently used elementary-aged story books. See more information here.

If you are based in Seattle, WA, please sign up for our upcoming events to sort books with our simple reading level colors and label books before they are sent to our school and library partners. To conduct a book sorting party at your own location, please reach out to us for guidance.
Books that are not relevant for our audience such as US Holidays, US History, Politics or Religion, etc are donated to local libraries or stores.
Carry books to India
One of the areas we need the most help with is in getting the books to India. If you are planning to travel to India for leisure or business, you can help by taking as few as 100 books in your bag. Please sign up and we can share more details.
