Joy of Reading (JoR) is a non-profit, established in 2010, that provides books to schools, non-profits, and communities to augment their existing libraries or set up new libraries. Our mission is to increase literacy and promote the pleasure of reading to children and youth everywhere. We are registered as 501(c)(3) in the US and formally registered as a non-profit trust in India.

Mission
Provide a wide range of resources for kids and training for teachers to enhance literacy and learning.
- Provide resources to augment existing libraries or set up new libraries in schools and communities.
- Train librarians on Library management and best practices
- Train educators to manage libraries and inculcate reading in children systematically.
- Conduct JoR Hours at schools with help of volunteers
- Present Interactive Read Aloud stories through the online JoR Channel
