I have been involved in social causes focusing on children’s welfare as much as I can, volunteering for organizations like Asha, CRY, and mentoring youth in technology since my post graduation. In my previous avatar till 2017,  I was leading the engineering side of product development at Microsoft.

Reading has always been an integral part of my life. I do not remember when or how I started, reading seems to have always been with me, like a cherished friend, but I do remember I used to read in secret, late into the night during school days, because I was totally engrossed in the story and simply could not put it down.

I was fortunate to have a library within walking distance from my house during my growing years; it basically became my second home where I lost myself in literature, non-fiction, histories, biographies and felt myself grow outside my small space into the large world around me.

What better way than to combine my passions for children-centric social causes and reading than by working towards spreading the pleasure of reading amongst children as I journey along the next phase of my life!
